Here’s a tutorial on how to fix a Nintendo Switch OLED TV that has no HDMI output. When you plug the device into the dock, the TV displays nothing.

Mechanical reader displays pins 8 and 17 as OL (Figure 1)
If pins 8 and 17 are OL, as shown in Figure 1, it’s very likely that the choke coil in that circuit is burnt out.
It’s located on the bottom of the motherboard, above the USB-C port.
You need to check the continuity of the choke. Look for visible traces so you can see how the continuity should propagate.
You can also switch each leg of the choke to diode mode. All four legs should show a diode mode reading.
If you have OL on the port side (bottom) of the choke but a diode mode reading on the top, then the choke is faulty.
You can replace it with another Nintendo Switch or Switch OLED. You can also find them on other devices, such as iPhones, iPads, and other Android devices. They are usually located near the LCD/display interface.
After replacing the faulty choke, the mechanical card reader should no longer display OL, and the Switch OLED should start displaying on the TV via HDMI.
