Device Won’t Power On
A PlayStation 5 Pro that won’t power on can have many causes, ranging from a faulty power supply to a motherboard problem.
Diagnostic Steps

First, check if the power supply is outputting 12V. If there’s no 12V, it could be a power supply failure or a short circuit on the motherboard preventing the power supply from generating 12V.

12V and 5V If the PS5 Pro has 12V, the next step is to check if there’s 5V. Do this by checking the voltage of the coil shown in the image. If there is 5V, the next step is to check if the Southbridge IC receives the necessary voltages, as shown in the image below.
If all these voltages are present, the next step is to ensure all fuses on the motherboard are working properly. Look for markings on the PCB that start with FXXXX; use a multimeter in continuous mode to check for continuity. If all fuses are working properly, the next step is to check the motherboard, especially for short circuits on the capacitors on the back of the Southbridge IC. If everything is fine, the next step is to replace the Southbridge IC, as sometimes they may be faulty without a short circuit.
If there is no 12V voltage, disconnect the power supply from diode mode and measure the positive terminal of the motherboard power supply.
The reading should be between 0.400 and 0.500. If so, replace the power supply. If the reading is 0.000, the 12V line is short-circuited. If there is no 5V on the motherboard, it is very likely because this line is short-circuited.

Use a multimeter switched to diode mode to measure the line and check if the voltage is high. Short circuits in capacitors near the coil are common. If 1.15V and 3.3V are missing in the picture, the PMIC is not working. Check if there is a 5V input. If so, replace the PMIC; if the 5V input is not present, this line may be short-circuited. If the line is short-circuited, F7002 will disconnect. The Southbridge IC and PS5 Slim CXD90069GG use the same one, so you can buy it from the motherboard or from a reputable seller online.
