Playstation 4 cannot connect to charging/synchronizing the controller
The controller or other USB devices cannot be connected via USB normally, nor can they be connected in safe mode.

Unable to charge controller
Unable to synchronize controller
Unable to detect USB drive
Check if there is 5V voltage at the USB port. If there is, the problem is likely to be with the USB circuit, not the southbridge.
Check if there is 3.3V voltage on the side of the capacitor where I posted. If it’s 0V or the voltage is around 2V, the issue is usually with the voltage regulator on the other side of the motherboard.
If the capacitor I mentioned is charged at 2V, you can gradually heat it up to see if the voltage increases. Alternatively, if you plug in the controller, check if it starts charging. If the controller lights up or the voltage rises, replace the voltage regulator. This is a common issue with this regulator.
